Okay, I'm here again...

Well, that was sure a "fun" moment on the roller coaster of life. It took a while to be rid of the extremely frustrating headaches and all. On a positive note, and perhaps the real reason for the silly who oredeal. I met a number of people. Those that really know me know that I feel pretty strong about the people in life we come in contact with. I don't think anything is "by chance".

Clark had to put down our little Meier. Having had to go through that with our faithful family pet, Lewis, and cat, Guido, I know it was very hard to say the least. We're a family that doesn't just have a dog or cat. They are a part of our family and so the mourning in the loss of each of them is felt deeply. Ms. Meier was a diva dog and deeply devoted to her master. Clark was as deeply devoted to her. She filled a spot in his life that will be hard to fill. Oh, btw, today is Meier's birthday. The proof of the depth of her being a part of our family is that I believe the children have taken just as many pictures of her as I have of them. Seriously, every roll of film I would discover pictures of Meier and Lewis - taken often by Laurel. It would make me smile everytime I anxiously opened the evelope - sometimes I would wonder when they got the camera away from me to even take the pictures. I actually was totally fine about the pictures. Meier and Lewis pictures showing their growth...including the graying around their little faces will become just as treasured. So to future in-law children beware...the reason we got Meier and Lewis was because of a faithful little daschund in Clark's childhood!

Well, I'll work on catching up and posting again.
