I'm not sure if it is good or not.
I cannot believe how clear my TV picture is. I flipped between the opening of the olympics and HGTV. How DID they do all that in the opening? I fell asleep on the couch with the remote in my hand and it was on HGTV and when I woke up...no I didn't turn it off and go to bed. I started watching the show that was on and fell asleep again.
It's a good thing I don't have a cable TV outlet to my bedroom. I'm sure the newness WILL wear off. I do have a bedtime that I must meet to function during the week. All I know now is I was very happy this morning when my phone alarm went off and I sat up thinking I had to get ready for work and was very happy when I remembered it was Saturday.
I couldn't help but reach for the remote...HGTV was calling me. A show on fixing things in the house...my brain quickly rationalizing...I can learn how to do things.
I'm in trouble.

I love that you are rationalizing the HGTV.
I can totally relate to the fall asleep thing. I don't often sit down to watch tv but when I do it lulls me off to sleepy land. And yes...the opening ceremonies (which are usually totally boring and ridiculous) were amazing...the drummers...wow...and just the sheer number of people participating...incredible...but they do have 1/5 of the planets population to work with! Do you think the torch lighter/air runner guy was getting a little tired? Anyway...glad you can join the rest of us tv snoozers! By the way, about the wedding, Twink and Noah may be driving down, you might give them a call and see if they would let you ride with them. At any rate, let me know fairly soon as I have another plan if that doesn't work.
I love you and HGTV too! I learn so much off of that channel! Have you watched the Food Network? That will suck you in too! Love you!
